Employability Assistance for Persons with Disabilities

This program is designed to assist individuals with a disability acquire the skills, experience and support necessary to successfully prepare for, enter or remain in the work force. Services include employment counselling and assessment, employment planning, pre-employment training, post-secondary education, skills training, technical aids and other supports to assist individuals obtain access to job opportunities and training. EmpowerNL – Transitions to Work Program

Program participants will continue to receive their Income Support benefits while attending. In addition, participants will receive a bus pass, a $200 start-up allowance, a monthly stipend of $50, and the cost of childcare (if needed).
