Our committee is part of a provincial effort to raise awareness of the effects of brain injury. In consultation with survivors of brain injury and their families, our role is to plan and coordinate a series of events leading up to and during the month of June, which is Brain Injury Awareness Month. Funds generated will be used to cover costs related to brain injury awareness initiatives in Newfoundland and Labrador.
